Information Processed and Purpose WindTouch is an app that allows your phone to be used as a Bluetooth Classic HID mouse, keyboard, and remote control. Sentences typed by the user are converted into key signals on the phone and transmitted directly to the connected device along with touch, wheel, and media actions. The input content is processed by the active apps on the connected device. It is not sent to the Windsoft server. When the app starts, it accesses https://windsoft.co.kr/assets/windtouch/tv-profiles.json via HTTPS to update the TV list. The received list is stored in the app's private storage, and if connection fails, the stored list or the app's default list is used. This request does not include the Bluetooth device name, address, input content, or license code. The web server receives information necessary for communication, such as the IP address, during the request process. 2. Information Stored on the Phone The app stores or reads on the device the selected Bluetooth device’s name, address, and connection information, as well as device-specific Win/Mac modes, sensitivity, layout, and other settings. Connection and error logs only retain recent entries in app memory and are not automatically uploaded. Typed sentences and sentences stored when switching to the background are temporarily retained only in the memory of the currently running app and are reset when the app is closed and restarted. Pressing the load button fills the input field with sentences stored when switching to the background and clears the temporary storage. The app does not automatically copy input sentences to the system clipboard. Input sentences are not collected for analysis or advertising purposes, nor are they stored on a server. The start time of the free trial and the elapsed time are saved locally. The signed purchase record received from Google Play (product ID, purchase token, order/purchase status, etc.) and the verification time are stored in the app's dedicated storage for purchase restoration and permission checks. Purchase tokens and the original purchase records are not output in the app log. An internet connection is required to verify purchases. After verification, purchased paid features can be used offline for up to 7 days, after which the internet connection is required to re-verify the purchase. No additional payment is charged upon re-verification. When applying a test license code, the original code and the maximum observed time during verification of usable year/half-year and usage period contained in the code are processed on the device. The original code and maximum observed time are saved in the app's dedicated storage and used together with elapsed time during execution to check for expiration and clock rollback. Electronic signatures are verified on the device, and the code and time records are not sent to the Windsoft server. This code does not generate Google Play purchase records. 3. Permissions Nearby device permission is used for Bluetooth search, pairing, connection, and allowing searches. Android 9–11 requires location permissions for nearby Bluetooth scanning, but the app does not check GPS location or store location history. If permission is denied, related search or connection features cannot be used. Foreground services for notifications and connected devices are used to maintain Bluetooth connections in the background and provide connection status and disconnection actions. You can disconnect a notification or close the app from the recent apps list to terminate the connection. 4. External Transfers and Third-Party Services The app does not display ads and does not require a Windsoft account registration. It uses the Google Play Billing library to handle price inquiries, one-time in-app purchases, purchase verification, and restoration. In this process, it communicates with Google services and the internet, and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and payment terms. Information related to purchases processed by the payment service and service operation/diagnostic information is subject to Google's policies (https://policies.google.com/privacy). Inputs are sent to the Bluetooth device selected by the user. If you open developer sites, email, or Google Play, the privacy policy of those external services applies. Basic features are free. Features such as touchpad/wheel acceleration and inertial scrolling, real-time transmission, and advanced touch gestures (two-finger pinch/zoom, three-finger gestures) can be continuously used after a 72-hour trial with a one-time purchase. There is no automatic payment at the end of the trial. Payments are processed through Google Play, and the app does not receive card numbers or Google account passwords. 5. Storage and Deletion Input sentences saved in previous versions will be deleted from the app storage when the app is launched after an update. Sentences previously copied to the system clipboard can be separately deleted from the clipboard history on the phone. Local experience records, purchase caches, app settings, stored device information, test license codes, and maximum observation times can be deleted by clearing app data or uninstalling the app. Uninstalling the app does not delete or refund Google Play purchase history. Google Play purchase records and refunds are managed by the respective service. Bluetooth pairing records in the Android system must be removed separately in the Bluetooth settings. Contents entered in documents or apps on connected PCs must be deleted on the respective device. Emails and attachments voluntarily sent for support inquiries are used for inquiry processing, and deletion requests can be submitted to the above email. Inquiry materials are deleted within 90 days after processing completion. Entering 0000 in the code input field and applying it will only remove this device's test license code and the permissions associated with the code. The maximum observation time is retained to prevent clock rollback. The code or time records are not automatically deleted upon code expiration. Remaining time records can be deleted by clearing app data or uninstalling the app. Yearly codes and time records saved in previous versions can also be deleted by clearing app data or uninstalling the app. Purchase and experience records are not deleted with 0000. Custom operation button names, key combinations, saved sentences, consecutive actions, and device-specific sensitivity and layout settings are also stored in the app-exclusive storage. Items can be deleted individually on the custom operation screen or entirely by clearing app data or uninstalling the app. Saved sentences are sent to the selected Bluetooth device only when the user presses the send button and are not automatically sent on app startup. 6. Protective measures App data uses storage dedicated to Android apps. It is configured to exclude app data from automatic backup and device transfer. Bluetooth connection security uses the pairing feature of Android and the other device. Mouse, keyboard, and remote control inputs are transmitted via Bluetooth without relaying through an internet server. Communication related to Google Play payments is carried out separately. 7. Text is converted into keystrokes on your phone and sent directly to the Bluetooth device you select, together with mouse and media input. The active application on that device receives the input. It is not sent to a Windsoft server. At app startup, WindTouch requests https://windsoft.co.kr/assets/windtouch/tv-profiles.json over HTTPS to update the TV list. The downloaded list is stored in app-private storage. If the request fails, the saved or bundled list is used. Bluetooth device names or addresses, input content and license codes are not attached to this request. The web server receives network information such as the IP address needed to handle the request. Local storage The app reads or stores Bluetooth device names, addresses, connection preferences, per-device Windows/Mac mode and control settings on the phone. Recent connection/error logs are held in app memory and are not automatically uploaded. The current draft and text saved when the app enters the background are kept only in memory during the current app session and reset when the app is closed and restarted. Load restores the text saved on entering the background to the input field and clears that temporary history. The app does not automatically copy drafts to the system clipboard. Text is not collected for advertising or analytics or stored on our servers. The trial start time and elapsed time are stored locally. For purchase restoration and entitlement checks, the app stores signed purchase data returned by Google Play (including product ID, purchase token, order and purchase state) and the last verification time in app-private storage. Purchase tokens and raw purchase records are not written to app logs. An internet connection is required to verify purchases. Purchased premium features are available offline for up to 7 days after verification. After that, connect to the internet to verify your purchase again. Verification does not charge you again. When a test license code is applied, the app processes the code, its encoded year and half-year, and the latest observed time used to validate its period. The code and latest observed time are stored in app-private storage. Elapsed time during execution is also used to check expiry and reduce clock rollback. The signature is verified locally. These code and time records are not sent to a Windsoft server and do not create a Google Play purchase record. Permissions Nearby devices permissions support Bluetooth discovery, pairing, connection and discoverability. Android 9-11 requires location permission for Bluetooth scanning; the app does not query GPS location or retain location history. Denying permissions prevents the related discovery or connection functions. Notifications and a connected-device foreground service maintain the Bluetooth session while the app is in the background and provide connection status and a Disconnect action. Use that action or dismiss the app from recent apps to end the connection. Third-party services The app displays no ads and requires no Windsoft account. It uses Google Play Billing for localized prices, one-time in-app purchases, acknowledgement and restoration. This involves internet communication with Google services under Google privacy policies and payment terms. Refer to Google policies for purchase-related and service operation/diagnostic information processed by its services (https://policies.google.com/privacy). Bluetooth input goes to your selected device. Opening the developer website, email or Google Play involves those services and their policies. Basic features are free. Touchpad/wheel acceleration and inertia, Live typing, and advanced touch gestures (pinch zoom and three-finger actions) can be tried for 72 hours and kept available with a one-time purchase. Trial expiry does not charge you automatically. Google Play processes payments; the app does not receive payment card numbers or Google account passwords. Retention and deletion Drafts persisted by older versions are removed from app storage on the next launch after updating. Any copies previously placed in the system clipboard can be deleted separately from the phone clipboard history. Clear app data or uninstall to remove local trial records, purchase caches, app settings, saved device information, test license codes and latest observed time records. Uninstalling does not delete or refund Google Play purchases; purchase records and refunds are managed through Google Play. Remove system Bluetooth pairings separately in Android Bluetooth settings. Delete any text entered into documents on the receiving device there. Email and attachments voluntarily sent for support are used to answer the enquiry; deletion can be requested at the contact above. Support enquiry materials are deleted within 90 days after resolution. Applying 0000 removes only the test license code and its entitlement on this device. The latest observed time remains to reduce clock rollback. Expiry alone does not delete the saved code or time record. Clear app data or uninstall to delete the remaining time record, including annual-code records retained from earlier versions. Google Play purchase caches and trial records are not deleted by 0000. Custom button names, key combinations, saved phrases, action sequences and per-device speed/layout profiles are stored in app-private storage. Delete individual entries in Personal controls, or clear app data/uninstall to remove all entries. Saved phrases are sent only to the selected Bluetooth device when you tap the send button; they are not sent automatically at app startup. Protection Settings use Android app-private storage. App data is excluded from automatic backup and device transfer by configuration. Bluetooth security uses Android and the receiving device’s pairing facilities. Mouse, keyboard and remote input travels directly over Bluetooth without an internet relay. Google Play payment-related communication is separate.
