Object Information and Sets
Object Selection and Properties
In the 3D view, click on an object Then, on the righttab, the name and property palette will be displayed. Bottom Object information Model Information shows the number of meshes, materials, vertices, and polygons. When an object is selected, its properties are displayed on the right panel
All objects in the drawing
are organized in the order of Category (Walls · Doors · Furniture, etc.) → Type → Object Clicking an item highlights the object in the 3D view, and double-clicking moves the camera. Models Tab — Display Object Count by Category
Make a set
Frequently checked objects — e.g., “1st floor frame”, “2nd floor plumbing” — are groupedinto sets for management. Sets are stored on the server by drawing and become the basic units for construction schedule simulation (4D).
- In the 3D view (or Models tab), objects can be clicked to selectIt is provided. Ctrl+clicked to select multiple objects together.
- At the top of the Explorer + Press the button.
- New Set Enter a name, or choose an Existing Setfrom the combo box to add.
Auto Set Creation — with one click, creates sets and schedule
Without selecting objects one by one, the Explorer .. menu → Auto Set Creationreads the attributes of objects to generate sets in bulk. It is a function to complete the preparation stage of construction schedule simulation at once.
| Grouping criteria | Sets being created |
|---|---|
| Standard processes (11 steps) | Default value. Classified according to the standard sequence of Korean construction processes (earthwork → foundation → framing → windows & doors → exterior → finishing → MEP → landscaping) — processes not present in the model are automatically excluded |
| Standard process × level | Splitting the process by floor, e.g., “04 Frame Work · 1F” — the most realistic simulation as the frame rises floor by floor (more sets) |
| Level (floor) | Floor-based Sets — Even objects without level parameters are analyzed for height and automatically assigned to the nearest floor |
| Category | Sets by category such as walls, doors, floors, etc. |
| Level × Category | Combination of floor and category, like "1st Floor · Wall" |
- PreviewCheck the sets and number of objects to be created in advance and then execute.
- Automatic creation of observation points for each set — Creates observation points looking at each construction part in the “Construction Observation Points” folder (one per large group, login required). For construction on the rear side of the building, observation points also look from the rear.
- Automatic allocation of construction period — Divides the input period according to construction sequence and automatically inputs planned start/completion dates and planned dates for each object. As in actual site conditions. The next construction phase starts towards the end of the previous phase (20% overlap).Structural work is long, and MEP is short. Weighting by construction typeis applied. (Arbitrary allocation for testing, not an actual schedule)
- After completion Press [..] Menu → Simulationto immediately view the 4D.

| Highlight object | Click set name — All member objects are highlighted in 3D |
| Rename | Set name Double click |
| Exclude object | Next to the object ✕ Button |
| Edit Data | Next to the set ✎ Button — Open Set Data Edit Window (below) |
Set Data Edit — Enter Schedule
Next to the set ✎ By pressing the button, the set and its belonging objects' code · task name · planned start · planned completioncan be edited in table form. This schedule will be used in the process simulation on the next chapter.
- Set ScheduleIf you only enter planned start and completion (on the above row), the entire belonging objects inherit it— no need to enter for each object.
- If only certain objects have different schedules, enter in the table below Object-specific Planned Datesseparately (exception specification).
- Viewpoint Specification — Save the current screen (camera angle) as the viewpoint for this set. In the simulation, viewpoint trackingwill move to this viewpoint instead of automatic calculation.
- Automatic Time Allocation — Sequentially allocate the set period to belonging objects in descending order of height (bottom→top). This is a test feature to preview the simulation when there is no actual process chart.
- Save — Saves set and schedule data to the server. Delete set — Deletes the set (the object itself remains).
- Row Right-click — You can save the current screen as the viewpoint of that row.
Save / Open / Export Data File
Set configurations and schedules are separate data fromdrawing files (.glz). From the top menu in the explorer .. you can save or load this data as a file.
| Menu | Work |
|---|---|
| Save Data File | Download to your computer the full set configuration, start/completion planning, code, task name, and saved viewpoint as a
DrawingName.sets.json file. Use this for backup or to send to someone else. |
| Open Data File | Load a saved .sets.json(or CSV) file and apply it to the currently open drawing. You can receive a set and schedule created by the process manager as one file and reproduce it exactly. |
| Export Data | Export the set data table as a CSV or Excel (.xlsx) file. After editing the schedule in Excel, you can reload it using 'Open Data File'. |
Difference from server saving — The Save button in the set data edit window is saved on the serverbased on the login account, so it automatically follows even when logging in on another PC. The data file is separately a means for exchanging via files — use it when sharing your account with someone else or when going through Excel work.

Process Simulation (4D)
Using the plan start and plan completion dates entered in the set, this feature allows you to play back the process of buildings being constructed by date in 3D. In process meetings, it shows at a glance “how far should it be built by this date.”
How to run
- The fastest way: .. menu → Auto Set Creationis to turn on “Automatic Construction Period Allocation” and run it (see chapter 6). The set and schedule will be prepared at once. (If you manually created the set, enter the plan start and completion in the set data edit.)
- At the top of the Explorer .. menu → SimulationPress.
- A play bar appears at the bottom of the screen, and 3D switches to display the status by date.
- Use the same menu (End Simulation) or the play bar ✕ to return to the original screen.
When the simulation starts, the objects that were selected are automatically deselected (so that highlighting does not overlap with the status colors).
How to read the screen
| Display | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Original material | Constructed — Objects that are completed or in progress. Buildings grow exactly as they appear in reality. |
| Almost transparent | Not started — Objects that have not started yet (only the location is shown with a transparent skeleton) |
| Semi-transparent | Objects without a schedule — shown only as background context |
Completed and in-progress objects are displayed the same on screen, distinguished by the number of playback bars.
Playback bar
| Element | Features |
|---|---|
| ▶ Play | Automatically advance dates and play animation (press again to pause) |
| Slider | Move directly to the desired date |
| Date | Current simulation date |
| Sequential | When turned on, objects within the set period In order Are built, and when turned off, the entire set progresses simultaneously — Construction order reflects trade priority (walls/floors → windows → furniture) and heights. |
| viewpoint tracking | On by default. Camera automatically moves to view the in-progress construction set — If it's the backside process, the camera also turns to the back. Turn it off if you want to manually control the screen. If there is a saving point from editing set data, that point is prioritized. Viewpoint SpecificationUse the saved point from editing set data if available. |
| Completed · In progress · Not started | Object count based on the current date |
.. Menu's Redistribute set periodThis is a maintenance menu that redistributes the planned dates of the associated objects all at once when the set period is modified.
