Glazir Exporter is an add-in that exports Revit 3D views to glTF files, preserving materials, textures, and element properties. It also supports optimization options to reduce file size, encrypted ZIP, and automatic upload to Google Drive, allowing you to complete everything from export to sharing at once.

Exported Information
Preserves the information contained in the model as is
This is not just a tool that converts geometry. Because it exports materials, textures, and element properties together, you can see the same information in the web viewer as you did in Revit.

All parameters, including ElementId and category, are stored for each element. Clicking an element in the viewer allows you to see the same properties as in Revit.

Project information is also recorded within the file. Even just having the file allows you to know which project the model belongs to.

Provides options to adjust surface detail, reduce textures, and exclude small components. Especially useful when the model is heavy and the viewer is slow.
Security
AES-256 encrypted ZIP
You can bundle exported files into a password-protected ZIP. A password entered once is saved and used for the next export as well.
Delivery
Automatic drive upload
Once the export is complete, it is uploaded directly to the designated Google Drive folder. There is also an option to not leave any files on the PC.

Because conversion through to upload proceeds automatically, there is no need to move files or use another program in between.

Conversion
Converts the current 3D view into a glTF or glb file. Materials and properties are included as well.

Optimization
Depending on the settings, detail is reduced, textures are minimized, and small components are filtered out.

Bundles the result into a ZIP file. If encryption is enabled, it is locked with AES-256.

Upload
Uploads to the designated Google Drive folder and cleans up temporary files.
Handling heavy models
You can adjust the causes of viewer slowdown individually.
The main causes of a heavy model are usually the number of triangles, texture size, and the number of elements. Each can be adjusted separately, so you can compromise between quality and speed as needed.
Surface roughness (LOD)
This value determines how finely the curved surface is divided. Lowering it reduces the number of triangles, making the viewer lighter.

Reduces textures larger than 1024px when exporting. There is almost no visible difference on the screen, but loading becomes noticeably faster.

Excludes small components like screws, handles, and hinges that are not visible from afar during export. It is highly effective for models with many elements.

Safely deliver drawings
Design drawings are materials that cannot be handled carelessly. You can securely manage the delivery process with encryption, designated folder uploads, and the option not to keep a local copy.

Password ZIP
If encryption is enabled, a password-protected ZIP using AES-256 is created. On the recipient side, enter the password in Bandizip or 7-Zip to extract it.

Choose from My Computer, My Google Drive, or Company Folder. The upload folder is remembered separately for each destination.

Folder designation method
You can paste the folder URL or ID, ProjectA/Drawingsor write it as a path like this. Any non-existent folder will be created automatically.
No trace
Do not keep locally
If Drive upload is selected, the file is created in a temporary folder and deleted as soon as the upload is complete. Nothing remains on the PC.
OAuth
Google login once
You only need to log in once in the browser when uploading for the first time. After that, it uploads directly without logging in.

Minimum permissions
For the Google account drive.file Only requests permission. This program does not access the drive except for files it uploads.
